This is small post on the new model rocket that has been in the works for a little bit. I just finished spray painting and letting it dry with the warmer weather, and it turned out quite nice. One of the larger model rockets that I have built, but not too difficult. There were some fin issues however (proper alignment, poor adhesion etc.) so this ~3 foot tall model will not be flying, but it was a good experience building something bigger and slightly challenging. With the warmer weather up ahead I will be looking at building bigger kits. Its been tough trying to get a good balance between school and personal hobbies, but with the conclusion of the 3rd quarter things are starting to die down a bit. I’m looking forward to more building and model rocket launches at the NOVAAR Great Meadow location. As for the repository and motor updates, that is still in the works and is being updated almost daily, check frequently for updates regarding construction and test results.
